OUTING — Pastor Marlys Korman, age 76, of Outing, and formerly Robbinsdale and Brooklyn Center, passed away Friday, Jan. 25, 2013. She was born to Roy and Linda Dowden on Oct. 3, 1936, in Minneapolis. Marlys married Bill Korman on Sept. 10, 1955. She served as Pastor of Faith Lutheran Church, Swanburg, for many years.
Marlys is survived by: her husband of 57 years, Bill; children, Kent Korman (Carla), Kim O’Shaughnessy (Kevin); grandchildren, Tyler and Lindsey O’Shaughnessy, and Andy Korman.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be given to Faith Lutheran Church, Swanburg.
Services will be 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 31, at the Crosslake Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Kline Funeral Home, Pine River, and one hour prior to services at the church. There will also be a service held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1, at Glen Haven Cemetery Chapel, Crystal, Minn. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
