ISSAQUAH, Wash. — Robert E. Merrick, of Issaquah, Wash., born Jan. 2, 1933, passed away Jan. 4, 2013. Robert worked for Burlington Northern Railroad for 40 years including in Brainerd 1975 to January 1978. He is survived by his wife, Eileen, of 42 years; son, Robert, of Las Vegas; and daughters, Debra and Janet, of Spokane, Diana (Marty Johnson of Brainerd), Carol, Sandra, Donna, of the Seattle area; and sister, Hazel Hatcher, of Spokane.
