Dennis ‘Buzz’ A. Brusewitz

STAPLES — Dennis “Buzz” Arlen Brusewitz, 72, of Staples, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at Lakewood Health System Hospital in Staples, Minn. A memorial service for Dennis will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2013, from 5-7 p.m. at the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples, Minn.

Dennis was born on Sept. 18, 1940, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Henrey and Claire Brusewitz. He attended school at Boys Tech in Milwaukee, Wis. Dennis married Laura Goatz in Milwaukee, Wis., in 1981. Dennis worked as a steelworker and served in the United States Coast Guard for over 20 years. He enjoyed the outdoors. Dennis especially loved fishing and trapping.

Dennis is survived by his children, Dawn (Millard) Houser, of Staples, Dennis, of Staples, David (Tanya) Brusewitz, of Staples, Diane (Danny Joe) Dukowitz, of Staples, and Donald Brusewitz, of Staples; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henrey and Claire; wife, Laura; sister, Kay Lustig; and brother, Donald Brusewitz. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Staples, Minn.
