Roger ‘Swede’ Carlson

OUTING — Roger “Swede” Carlson, age 61, of Outing, died on Dec. 25, 2012. He was born on Jan. 29, 1951, in Minneapolis to Russell and Shirley (Martin) Carlson.

He was a former member of the Carpenter Union Local 851.

He married Joanne Lila Violett on Oct. 12, 1974, in Robbinsdale.

Survivors include his wife, Joanne; one sister, Claudia Zupon (Ron Wadsworth), of Corcoran; several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call at the Koop Funeral Home on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, from 1-4 p.m. with a prayer services at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily.
