Elliott ‘Scotty’ H. Scott

CHISAGO CITY — Elliott “Scotty” H. Scott, age 87, of Chisago City, passed away peacefully on Dec. 7, 2012.

He was born on March 24, 1925, in Brainerd, Minn., to parents Oliver and Ruth Scott. He was raised on Echo Stock Dairy Farm, south of Brainerd.

Elliott is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, John O. Scott. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Betty; children, Glen (Darlene) Scott and Karen (Ron) Tveitbakk; grandchildren, Katherine (Nate) Koch, Chris Scott, Jamie (Heather) Tveitbakk and Heidi Tveitbakk; great-grandchildren, Carson, Anna and Ben; sisters, Mary Helen Kunde and Marion Scott; and many other family and friends.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at the Grandstrand Funeral Home in Lindstrom, Minn. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
