Leslie Mary (Spraungel) Skurka passed away on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012.

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Thomas; father, Harland; brothers and sisters, Doug, Naomi, Andy (Maureen) and Anna (Chris); mother-in-law, Phyllis; brothers and sisters-in-law, Susan (Tony), Linda (David), Rob (Lynette) and Ken; nieces and nephews (Spraungels), Dana, Sean (Andrea), Beau, Terry, Bree (Dan), Jennifer (Aaron), Eleanore (Nathan), Cassie (Joey), Matthew, Noah, Nate, Christian, Austin, Dylan, Nora and John; (Skurkas) Lissa (Jake), Dee, Jackie (Jessie), Kathy, Jacob, Kelly (Zack), Ben; and many other family members and friends. Preceded in death by her mother, Eleanore; brother, Stephen; father-in-law, Frank. Words cannot express the loss of Leslie. She was the most kind and thoughtful person ever to have been given to this world by God. She was a beloved wife, sister, aunt, daughter, cousin, niece, friend and angel. God has taken her home to be with him. We will all miss you deeply Leslie and we will always remember you as a shining example of God’s love. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 20, 5 p.m., visitation 4 p.m., at Calvary Memorial Christian Church, 2420 Dunwoody Avenue, Navarre (Wayzata), MN 55391. Reception immediately following. Interment Wednesday, 11 a.m., Fort Snelling. Memorials may be sent to the family and will be given to Leslie’s favorite charity.
