Robert ‘Bob’ W. Harris
Robert “Bob” W. Harris, age 65, of Brainerd, passed away at Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Hospital on Nov. 14, 2012.
He was born on June 9, 1947, in Minneapolis to Robert and Elinore (Gilbreath) Harris. He was a U.S. Army veteran and married Linda Oeltjenbruns on Dec. 5, 1977. He retired from Potlach.
He enjoyed target shooting, hunting, making lists, tinkering with mechanical things; he loved learning and computers, but his greatest love was his wife, kids and grandkids.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Bob will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 35 years, Linda; children, Sue (Ed) Turner, of Baxter, and Matt, of Brainerd; grandchildren, Jack, Elsie and Kate; and his two best friends, Rod Carlson and George Nelson.
Memorial service on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brainerd. Interment will take place at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.
