Clarice V. Eidenshink, age 71, resident of Brainerd, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at her home. Clarice was born in Lastrup, Minn., to Joseph and Martha (Kolb) Mondloch. The family moved to Little Falls in 1946. Clarice graduated from Little Falls High School in 1959. In 1970 she married Jerry Eidenshink, a career naval officer. They lived in Coronado, California, Aiea, Hawaii and Kingsville, Texas. Jerry retired in 1982 when they moved back to Minnesota with their 8-year-old son, Michael, who was born at Tripler Memorial Hospital in Hawaii.
Clarice is survived by her husband, Jerry; son, Michael and wife Sonja; grandchildren, Lilia, Ethan, Christian, Eric and Isla; her sisters, Betty Kampa Miller, Elaine (Marv) Binstock and Francella Greene, all of St. Cloud, Dari (John) Zurawski, of Fridley; sisters-in-law, Jeri Mondloch, of St. Peter, Joyce McCullough, of Alexandria, Va.; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Arnold, Robert and Gene Mondloch.
Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. Saturday with Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012, at St. Francis Catholic Church in Brainerd with Father Tony Wroblewski officiating. Burial will be in Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Camp Ripley on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at noon.
Memorials preferred to St. Francis Catholic Church.
