Dorothy D. Lien

LAKE SHORE — Dorothy D. Lien, 84, of Lake Shore, previously of St. Louis Park, died peacefully in her sleep Oct. 27, 2012. Survived by daughters, Diane Marken, of St Louis Park, and Delores “Dee Dee” Buckley, of Roseville; sons, Larry Lien, of Pequot Lakes, and David Lien, of Golden Valley; grandchildren, James Marken, Matthew Karvonen, Steven Marken and Katelyn Lien; sister, Helen Meyer; and brother, Henry (Jean) Czupryna. Preceded in death by husband, Loren V. Lien; mother, Victoria; and father, Walter Czupryna; and brother, Edward Czupryna. Dorothy was a Past President of Golden Valley VFW Auxiliary to Post No. 7051 and a member of Pequot Lakes American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 49. Services were held Oct. 31 in St. Louis Park. Interment in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
