Lee Steven Miller, 67-year-old lifetime resident of Brainerd, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at Good Samaritan Society-Bethany. Lee was born in Duluth, Minn., on June 28, 1945, to Kenneth and Helen (Shadley) Miller.
Lee had been an active Moose member for over 30 years. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. His other interests were NASCAR and anything car related, playing cards, and enjoying the outdoors and animals.
Surviving are his wife, Pamela; daughter, Tracy Miller, of Largo, Fla.; son, Shawn Miller; grandchildren, Kaylee Ray and Jack; sisters, Joan (Tom) Cook, of Anthem, Ariz., and Diane Lorenz, of Enumclaw, Wash.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Patricia and Ray Windorski; and his aunt, Leona Miller.
Services will be held 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home with a Pilgrim Moose memorial service at 7 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Memorials are preferred to the Mooseheart Child City and School, Mooseheart, Ill., or to donor’s choice.
