Marjorie “Margie” Belle Falconer, age 82, of Brainerd, died at home on Aug. 29, 2012.
Margie was born Nov. 23, 1929, in Albert Lea, Minn. At the age of three years old, she was adopted by Robert and Josephine (Novak) Falconer.
Margie was employed by the State of Minnesota as the head of the business department at the Brainerd State Hospital for 29 years.
Margie was a very strong woman. She liked to share her wisdom. She was a kind, adventurous soul. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, numbers, her golf cart, and was a true accountant at heart. Mostly, Margie loved to spend time with her family.
Margie is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Tim) Scrimshaw, of Minneapolis, and Kathy (Thomas) Goff, of Pillager; six grandchildren, Goldie (Daniel) Reynolds, Frances (Shawn) O’Rourke, Kelly Goff, K.Ann Goff (Josh Dombrovski), Joshua (Adrienne) Scrimshaw and Joseph (Sara) Scrimshaw; and great-grandchildren, Maxwell, Jacob, Nancy, Tyler, Frances, Philip, Aaron and Miriam; and her beloved dog, Sophie.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Jim.
