AITKIN — Leota P. (Davies) Howard, age 94, of Aitkin, died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2012, at the Aicota Health Care Center in Aitkin.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at 11 a.m. from First Lutheran Church in Aitkin with the Rev. Sandy Berg Holte officiating. Burial will be in the Howard Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin. The family prefers memorials to the donor’s favorite charity. Arrangements are with the Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin.
