Beulah “Bea” Mae Wackwitz, age 81, of Brainerd, died July 24, 2012, at Essentia St. Joseph’s Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Bea was born Aug. 27, 1930, to Herbert and Coral Rothwell in Trommald, Minn. She married Ronald Wackwitz on Aug. 30, 1953.
Bea was self-employed as a beautician. She was a member of Heritage Assembly of God.
Bea is survived by her children, Ronald Jr., of Angle Inlet, Minn., Donald, of Wilton, Minn., Cathy (Terry) Ridlon, of Deerwood, Lynnette (Douglas) Pearson, of Puposky, Minn., and Pam Zetah, of Bemidji; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Beverly (Lewis Smith) Torgerson, of Baxter, Harland (Jean) Rothwell, of Deerwood, Patty (David) Batty, of Phoenix City, Ala., and Cheri (David) Price, of Crosby.
Bea was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ronald; daughters, Coralanna and Lori; sister, Evelyn Smith; and great-granddaughter, Danielle Bernatsky.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Heritage Assembly of God church, Baxter. Visitation will be Friday, July 27, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home and one-hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Brainerd.
