CROSBY — Charles “Chuck” Sellers, age 84, of Crosby, died on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. He was born on April 24, 1928 in Crosby to Charles and Dorothy (Gerth) Sellers. He married Marlys Margaret Berry on July 8, 1958 in Sisseton, S.D. He was a former Crosby Mayor, past Lions member serving with the Wyoming Club and past Deputy District Governor of District 5M 7.
Survivors include his wife, Marlys; Two sons, Robert (Deborah) Thomsen of Blaine, and Michael (Debra) Sellers of Crosby; One daughter, Cheri (Edward) Gonzales of Ironton; his mother, Dorothy Sellers of Crosby; One brother, Raymond Sellers of Brainerd and one sister, Jeannie Paxton of Pine River; 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his father and five children, Pattie Sellers, Thomas Sellers, Charles Sellers, Dennis Sellers and Bruce Sellers.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Tuesday at the Cascade United Methodist Church in Deerwood. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church on Tuesday.
Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
