VERNDALE — Funeral services for Vincent Richard Sellnow of Verndale will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 12, 2012, at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Bertha with Pastor Blake Rickbeil presiding. Vincent passed away unexpectedly on May 8, 2012, at his family’s land in Bartlett Township, Todd County.
Vincent was born on Aug. 6, 1983, to Richard and Doreen Sellnow at Pelican Rapids, Minn. He graduated from Brainerd High School in 2002 and completed the electricians program at Minnesota Technical and Community College at Wadena in 2004. He has been working for Mark’s Electric in Detroit Lakes. He enjoyed his free time outdoors hunting, fishing, mudding, four-wheeling, farming and spending time with family and friends.
Vincent was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Lloyd Sellnow and Donald Denny; uncle, Stewart Denny; aunt, Bev Sellnow; and cousin, Garrick Isakson. He is survived by his parents, Richard and Doreen Sellnow, of Brainerd; sister, Jackie (Brian) Wood, of Crosby; grandmothers, Lorraine Sellnow, of Bertha, and Iris Denny, of Wadena; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his dear friend, Kayla Willis, of Verndale.
Honorary pallbearers are Jackie and Brian Wood, Kayla Willis, Nick Willis, Shelly Willis, Kasey Willis, Taylor Willis, Tyler Willis, the employees of Mark’s Electric, and all of Vincent’s cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends.
Pallbearers are Brett Olsen, Dustin LeDoux, Daniel Wutzke, Adam Wutzke, RJ Goodmanson and Bud Willis.
Interment will be at the Greenlawn Cemetery at Verndale, Minn.
