Oliver Atneosen

DEERWOOD — Oliver Otto Atneosen, age 78, of Deerwood, died on Feb. 14, 2012, at the Orlando Regional Medical Center in Orlando.
He was born on Jan. 26, 1934, in Spooner, Wis., to Otto and Florence (Lindemoen) Atneosen. He was a retired Potlatch employee with 24 years of service. He was a member of the Lakewood Evangelical Free Church in Baxter and a Habitat for Humanity volunteer.
Survivors include his wife, Laurel; two sons, Bryan (Cathy) Atneosen, of Park Rapids, and Jeff Atneosen, of Riverton; one daughter, Melissa Straight, of Crosby; three brothers, Arland (Mickey) Atneosen, of Minnetonka, Otto (Diane) Atneosen, of Bloomington, and Thomas (Candy) Atneosen; one sister, Gladys Knutson, of Brainerd; five grandchildren, Joseph, Jessica, Michael, Matthew and Scarlett; and three great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his parents and one brother, Alvin.
A memorial services is being scheduled in the spring for extended family and friends, so all can share their precious memories of Ollie. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
