Carl E. Watson

DEERWOOD — Carl Eugene Watson, age 78, of Deerwood, Minn., died March 6, 2012, at Mille Lacs Nursing Home in Onamia, Minn. Carl was born Oct. 5, 1933, in Brainerd, Minn., to Ellis and Viola (Gardener) Watson. Carl married Delores Matson on Aug. 18, 1957, at Missionary Alliance Church in Garrison, Minn.
Carl was employed as a cement mason.
Carl is survived by his wife, Delores, of Deerwood; children, Tyrone (Shelly), of Deerwood, Kerwin (Teresa), of Tyler, Minn., and Terrance, of Deerwood, Minn.; 10 grandchildren and two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, Darrell (Donna) Watson and Glen (Darlene) Watson, of Brainerd, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kim; and sister, Dorothy.
Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 9, 2012, at Community Missionary Alliance Church in Garrison, Minn. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at a later date at Bay Lake Cemetery in Deerwood, Minn.
