Cassie V. Melton

YUMA, Ariz. — Cassie V. Melton (Bell), age 84, formerly of Brainerd, Minn., passed away on Feb. 13, 2012, in Yuma, Ariz. Cassie was born in Brainerd on March 8, 1927, to James and Vietta Bell.
After moving to Yuma, Cassie bought a small motel and operated it for several years. She also enjoyed fishing, baking and spending time with her many grandchildren.
Cassie was married to Richard Isle (deceased 1959) and is survived by their four children, Tom (Deb) Isle, Brainerd, Minn., Andy (Barb) Isle, Coon Rapids, Minn., Phyllis (Steve) Wilkens, Yuma, Ariz., and Patricia Long, Bart, Calif.
Cassie is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Isle; and her granddaughter, Lisa Isle Hallman.
Cassie donated her body to science so no funeral arrangements have been planned at this time.
