Margaret Heyne

PINE RIVER — Margaret Heyne, age 64, of Pine River, died on Feb. 22, 2012, at the Bethany Nursing Home in Brainerd. She was born on Sept. 24, 1947, in Brainerd to Lawrence and Esther (Hemness) Linse.
Margaret graduated from the U of M and worked as a nurse in the Twin Cities for over 20 years. She retired with her husband to the family farm in Pine River in 1997. She liked reading, sewing, quilting and gardening.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Roman; one daughter, Theresa Cairns, of Eagan; one son, Mark Heyne, of Owatonna; two sisters, Judy Linse, of New Brighton, and Ruth Farina, of Yonkers, N.Y.; and by four grandchildren. Margaret is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 2012, at First Lutheran Church in Pine River. Burial will be at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Pine River. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to be given to First Lutheran Church in Margaret’s name.
