John T. Schones

GARRISON — John Theodore Schones, age 61, of Garrison, died on Feb. 14, 2012, at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd. He was born on Jan. 13, 1951, in Wabasha, Minn., to John and Mildred (Giesler) Schones. John was a retired employee of the Grand Casino. Survivors include his children, Julie (Jim) Rodden, John (Christine) Schones, Lisa Schones and Laura Schones; his grandchildren, Brent and Hunter Rodden, Carissa Schones and Maria Schones; his mother, Mildred Schones; siblings, Rosella Schones, Mary Lehmann and Janice Darsow.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 24, 2012, at the Community Alliance Church in Garrison. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
