Joyce Mose

Joyce Mose, age 89, resident of Brainerd, died Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011, at Good Samaritan Society-Bethany. She was born Nov. 16, 1922, in Park Rapids, Minn., to Earl and Eunice (Lathrop) Craig. She was united in marriage to LeRoy Mose on April 13, 1941, in Brainerd.
Her memberships included the Eagles Club, VFW Auxiliary, member and past president of the American Legion Auxiliary, and Northern Lights CB Club. Joyce enjoyed flower gardening and bird watching.
Survivors include daughter, Bonnie (Harold) Davidson, of Brainerd; sons, Richard (Pat) Mose, of Beckley, W.Va., and Robert (Dee) Mose, of Brainerd; grandchildren, Debbie (Jon) Jensen, DeeDee (Ron) Bolte, Darren (Chris) Eden, Anthony DiMarco, Cherri (Paul) Lasher, William Mose, Theresa (Mark) Cullett, Michael Mose, Rhonda (Ron) Murray, and Carmel Evans (Darren Ottem); 25 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy (Bob) Corbett, of Manteca, Calif., and Carol O’Flarety.
She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy; daughter, Jan Mose; three brothers, David, Don and Jim Craig; and one granddaughter, Heather Jo.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 30 at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd with visitation 5-8 p.m. Thursday and the hour before services Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
