IRONTON — Jean Elaine Zauhar, age 80, of Ironton, died on Nov. 30, 2011, at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. She was born on Jan. 13, 1931, in Crosby to John J. and Flora (Palmer) Kivisto. She married George John Zauhar on Oct. 25, 1952, in Crosby.
Jean was a retired Central Lakes Clinic Employee with 27 years of service. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.
Survivors include one son, Tom Zauhar, of Ironton; one daughter, Jill Brodmarkle, of Baxter; son-in-law, Dale Parks, of Brainerd; one brother, Jack (Janet) Kivisto; two sisters, Joann (Pug) Fish, of Monticello, and Janet Burrows, of Baxter; sister-in-law, Hazel Zauhar, of Ironton; five grandchildren, Greg (Jolene) Parks, Chad Parks, Megan Parks, Melissa (Jason) Emerson and E.J. Brodmarkle and one great-grandchild, Addison Parks.
Preceding her in death are her parents; husband, George; daughter, Gaylene Parks; son-in-law, Edwin Brodmarkle.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday.
