“Not a man of many words, but they were always the truth and from the heart. Lived life to the fullest…loved like there was no tomorrow. Dealt with life’s obstacles with style and finesse. Was soft spoken, gentle and forgiving. Gave until there was nothing left. Was proud to be an American. Best teacher and dad a person could have had. Funny, handsome and deeply in love to the most wonderful woman for 55 years. My heart aches for me and my family…I miss you already Dad.”
A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3 at the Brainerd American Legion (708 Front Street.) Military honors will be provided by the Brainerd American Legion Post No. 255 Color Guard. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
