Marvin Eugene Lorensen

PINE RIVER — Marvin Eugene Lorensen, age 59, of Pine River passed away Thursday, Nov. 10, 2011, at the Pine River Good Samaritan Home. He was born April 10, 1952, in Brainerd to Carl and Ruth (Person) Lorensen.
He is survived by his son, Dean (Alicia) Lorensen of Pine River; two brothers, Keith (Jackie) Lorensen of Longville, Minn., and Kurt Lorensen of Sebeka, Minn.; one sister, Nancy (Arvid) Westfall of Isanti, Minn.; and by four nephews and a niece.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at the Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery rural Backus followed by a remembrance gathering at the Harriet Club in Pine River, Minn., from 3 to 6 p.m. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2011, at the Kline Funeral Home in Pine River.
