Mary Kay Thesing

Mary Kay Thesing, age 63, went home to her Savior Jesus on Nov. 1, 2011. Mary was born on March 22, 1947, in Minneapolis to Thomas and Elvera Scheurer. She moved to Brainerd with her family as a young girl and graduated from Washington High School in 1966. In 1968 Mary moved to Minneapolis and spent the next 36 years as a bookkeeper for Cousineau McQuire Law Firm in St. Louis Park. Mary is remembered for her deep love for family and friends, her desire to help others in need, and her fun loving spirit.
She is preceded in death by her parents and two infant daughters and deeply missed by her sister, Terri (Kevin) Close; niece, Elle (Mark) Loschko; nephew, Chris (Amber) Close, 7 great nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 7, 2011, at Lakewood Evangelical Free Church at 11:30 a.m. Friends and family are invited to gather one hour prior to the service.
Memorials are preferred to The American Cancer Society/Relay for Life.
