Roxanne M. Swanberg, age 50 of Brainerd, died suddenly in a car accident on Oct. 3, 2011.
Roxanne was born in Henning to Marlyn and Eloise (Downing) Jensen. She grew up in Henning, where she met the love of her life, Michael Swanberg. Mike and Roxanne dated in high school and were married, July 18, 1981. Together they have a son, Travis.
She worked for a local propane company in Pequot Lakes for 25 years. Roxanne was the office manager at Halvorson Johnson Funeral Home for the last year and a half. She also worked part-time at Herberger’s.
Roxanne was a kind and sincere spirit. She never had a bad word to say about anyone. She loved to host parties, decorate for every occasion, cooking, baking and 80s concerts. She was a “chatter” and would do anything for anyone. Her family and friends meant the world to Roxanne, and Travis was her absolute pride and joy. Our world will never be the same without her.
