Florence M. Williams

CROSBY — Florence Margaret Williams, age 93, died on Friday, Aug. 12, 2011, at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby.

Florence was born in Crosby on Dec. 3, 1917. Together with her husband John O. Williams, spent 20 years traveling around with USAF. After traveling they were stationed in Maryland. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby.

Survivors include one brother, John (Mary) Widmar of Crosby; and two sisters, Genevieve Glick of El Cajon, Calif., and Caroline English of Norfolk, Va.; many nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are her parents, John and Anna Widmar; husband John; two sisters, Helen and Dorothy; one brother, George. 

Funeral services will be 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Friends may call from 6 p.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at the Hanover Green Cemetery in Hanover Township, Pa.
