Larry L. Jones

VALLEJO, Calif. — Larry Lee Jones, age 62, passed away Friday, July 22, 2011, at his home in Vallejo, Calif. Larry was born on March 7, 1949, in Brainerd. His family moved to California when he was young. He graduated from Vallejo High School then served two years in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict.

Larry is survived by his son, Jason Jones, Arizona; daughters, Tiffany Jones and Caitlin Jones-Olvera, Vallejo; and 11 grandchildren; his mother, Ila Fanjoy, Brainerd; three brothers, Marty (Peggy) Jones, Vallejo, Robert (Marilyn) Fanjoy and James (Nancy) Fanjoy, Brainerd; two sisters, Dixie (Michael) McCapes, Brainerd, and Robin (John) Carbone, Napa, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Jones; and his grandparents, Ethel and Loran Jones and Ruby and Martin Doust.

A celebration of Larry’s life will be held at a later date.
