Charles Fredrick Flor, age 68, of Brainerd, formerly of Crosby, died on April 19, 2011, at his home.
He was born on Sept. 11, 1942, in Little Falls to Fred and Loretta (Mueller) Flor. He married Madora Morison on Aug. 17, 1962, in Brainerd.
Survivors include his wife, Madora; two sons, Seth Flor, of Crosby, and Karl (Kristin) Flor, of Crosby; seven daughters, Tena (Marty) Splettstoeszer, of Ironton, Gloria Flor, Linnea Ames, Lenora Zino, Jacqueline (Gerald) Buscher, all of Brainerd, Evelyn Rinde, of Roberts, Wis., and Vicki Flor, of Brainerd; two brothers, Richard (Betty) Flor and James (Linda) Flor; sisters, Mildred (Ralph) Peddycoart, Judy (Lance) Parsley, Jane Beckman, Debra (Gary) Bruns, Sandra (Thomas) Paulzine and Carol (Henry) Veldhuisen; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death are his parents; and one sister, Barbara Flor.
Funeral service will be on 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Woodland Cemetery in Irondale Township. Friends may call on Monday at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby from 5 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. and on Tuesday one hour prior to the services at the church.
