James A. Hartfiel, born Feb. 29, 1948, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on March 25, 2011. Survived by his loving wife, Kathy; daughters, Heather (Jeff) Crego, Jessica Jaderston; stepchildren, Richard (Lori) Spring, Michelle (Steven) Burton, Janeal (Raymond) Lee, Sharon (Jeremy) Heyer, Darin Spring and Crystal Spring; 11 grandchildren; sisters, Penny (Duane) Houck, Pam (Bill) VanSickle, Susie Hartfiel, Ruth Theisen (John) and Mary (Ted) Kottke; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jean and Adam Hartfiel. Jim served in the Army from 1967-1970 and was a loyal employee of Best Buy Co. for 30 years. Visitation on Tuesday, March 29 from 4-8 p.m. at Kapala-Glodek-Malone Funeral Home, 7800 Bass Lake Road, in New Hope. Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 30, at 11 a.m. with visitation at 10 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 7675 Maple Hill Road in Corcoran. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
