Mary Jane Woelfel

FORT RIPLEY — Mary Jane Woelfel, age 70, of Fort Ripley, and formerly of St. Cloud, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2011, at Bethany Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Brainerd. Mary Jane was born April 7, 1940, in St. Cloud to Clement and Virginia (Boomer) Stein. Mary Jane joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1958. She married Clayton on Dec. 7, 1985. She worked for SCSU for 25 years.

Memorial service will be held noon Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home, 703 Oak St., Brainerd, with visitation from 11 a.m. to noon.

She will be dearly missed by her husband, Clayton Woelfel, of Fort Ripley; daughters, Theresa (Terry) Doiro and Annette Gipson; brothers, John (Vivian), of Alamo, Calif., George (BK), of Minnetonka, Tom (Joyce), of St. Cloud; sisters, Ginny (Gene) Tobin, of Cold Spring, Margaret (Chuck) Lindenfelser, of Albertville; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mary Jane is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary Jane; a set of infant triplets (two girls and a boy).
