BARROWS — Marvin Copa, age 54, of Barrows, Minn., near Brainerd, passed away Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, Minn., as the result of a fall and a severe head injury.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2011, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Little Falls, Minn. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2 and 9-10 a.m. Thursday, March 3, all at Emblom-Brenny Funeral Service in Little Falls. There will be a parish prayer service at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Left to cherish his memory are his brothers, George (Dona Leonhard), of Salem, Ore., Don Copa, of Little Falls, Minn., Joe (Marlene) Copa, of Little Falls, and Martin (Shelly Zimmerman), of Barrows, Minn.; many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Veronica (Schneider) Copa Sr.; brother, Hubert Copa; two sisters-in-law, both named Pat Copa; special friend, Twyla Fairben.
