MERRIFIELD — Francis O. Keller, age 85, resident of Merrifield, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, at Good Samaritan Society-Bethany. He was born Oct. 10, 1925, in White Cloud, Kan., to Frank and Minnie Keller. Francis retired from Ferrellgas after 30 years of service. He served on the USS Miller in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Francis was a member of the VFW and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Rosilie (Longfellow) Keller; son, Frank (Donna) Keller; daughters, Lucinda Thomas and Debra Feltman; daughter-in-law, Leonie Keller; brother, Dale (Valerie) Keller; granddaughters, Heather (James) Addison and Tabatha (Paul) Shaw; grandsons, John Thomas, Chris (Margaret) Keller, Spider Keller, Sandy Keller and Todd (Shelley) Feltman; 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Fenton Keller; grandson, Mark Thomas; and 10 brothers and sisters.
Memorial service will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 31 at Bethany Chapel, 804 Wright St., Brainerd, with Pastor Barb Christenson officiating. Burial will be at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd and continue at Bethany Chapel Monday half hour prior to the service.
