GARRISON — Jack James Ranallo, age 85, of Garrison, died on Jan. 26, 2011, at North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale. He was born on June 13, 1925, in Hudson, Wis., to Ned and Eva (Proper) Gruska.

Jack was a WWII Navy veteran. He was a member of the Garrison VFW and Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church in Garrison. Jack loved hunting, fishing, gardening, traveling and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Bernice; sons, Jack (Judy) Ranallo, Mike (Wendy) Ranallo; daughters, Deb (Steven) Ranallo-Olson, Deni (Brett) Kvale; brothers, Ray, Dick, Doug and Dave; sisters, Dorothy and Marge; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Friday at Shepherd of the Lake Lutheran Church in Garrison.

Military honors will be given by the Garrison VFW. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
