Douglas “Douggie” Kenneth Vosler, 33, went to be with our Lord and Savior, on Friday, Jan. 21, 2011, while at home surrounded by his family.
He was born June 7, 1977, in Fountain Valley, Calif., to Douglas and Carolyn (Fuchs) Vosler.
Doug was a 1995 Brainerd High graduate with a passion for photography and music, which allowed him to travel, share his faith and love of Jesus.
Surviving are his parents; three sisters, Charity Meyer (Donny), of Breezy Point, Debbie Rochel (Jody), of Breezy Point, and Patty Schrumpf (Darrell), of Washington; four nephews; and two nieces; and aunt, Debra Prout (Frank), of Hackensack.
Funeral service will be held at Lakewood Church in Baxter, Minn., on Thursday, Jan. 27, at 4 p.m. with visitation one hour prior and a light meal following.
The family requests those in attendance to wear purple or green in honor of Douggie.
