Michael A. Shay

Michael Angelo Shay, 94, of Baxter, passed away Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, at his home.

Graveside Services will be held for Michael at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, 2011, at Oakland Cemetery in Little Falls, Minn.

Michael was born Dec. 12, 1916, in Minneapolis, the son of Frank and Neope (Nelson) Iannazzo. He was raised in St. Paul and before enlisting and serving in the U.S. Army during WWII, he drove a street car. Following his honorable discharge, he was a truck driver until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling and spending the winters in Florida.

He will be missed by his sons, Raymond (Colleen) Langren, Dwight Langren and Duane Langren; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ada; and son Michael.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
