Mildred Unruh

Mildred Unruh quietly passed away Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, at Woodland Good Samaritan Society in Brainerd. She was born Feb. 16, 1912, to John and Henrietta (Dirr) Unruh in Tripp, S.D. She graduated from high school in West Bend, Wis. She worked as a private secretary to the president of Pillsbury Mills Company. She is survived by a sister, Ruth DeTuncq; three nephews, Michael and Curtis Unruh, Conrad DeTuncq, their spouses; many great and great-great-nieces and nephews. Her parents; and brother, Lyman Unruh, preceded her in death. Her family, many friends and the staff at Woodland will miss her.
