PILLAGER — Dale C. Macho, 66, passed away Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, at his home in Pillager. Dale was born Oct. 30, 1044, in Todd County to Frank and Evelyn (Smith) Macho.

He is survived by son, Darren Macho, of Brainerd; sisters, Jeanette Nelson, Brainerd, and LaVerne Hagenson, Staples; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Brownie.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, LeRoy; sister, Darlene; brothers-in-law, Dick Hagenson and Derald Anderson.

Dale was enlisted in the Army. He retired as a machinist supervisor for Boeing at Kent Space Center in Seattle. He enjoyed woodworking, the outdoors, mountains, fishing and hunting.

Services for Dale will be Monday, Jan. 3, 2010, at 12:30 p.m. at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home in Brainerd. Interment will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls. Memorials are preferred.

Arrangements are with Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Brainerd.
