Ann Jungbauer (nee Herold) died after living with colon cancer since 2006. Born in St. Paul; preceded in death by parents, George and Louise Herold. Survived by her best friend and husband, George; children, Mike (Christy), Inver Grove Heights, and Jaime, Maplewood; granddaughter, Kyleigh; siblings, Betty Herold, Tom (Barb) Herold and Dick (Kathy) Herold; mother-in-law, Patricia Jungbauer; in-laws, Mary Lawrence, Jane, Patty (Mark) Smith, Bob; several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews; many supportive former co-workers, friends, neighbors, and Affirming Life co-conspirators.
“Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine glass in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming “Woohoo, what a ride!”
Thank you to the staff at Bloomington Lake Clinic and Masonic Cancer Center. Service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Willwerscheid Natural Burial and Cremation, 235 Wentworth Ave. W., West St. Paul. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday. Burial at Acacia Park Cemetery.
