LITTLE FALLS — Alfred A. Kruger, age 79, resident of Little Falls, died on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at St. Otto’s Care Center in Little Falls. Alfred was born to Albert and Minnie (Pankrantz) Kruger on April 29, 1931. He married Barbara Jean (Babb) on Jan. 3, 1953; they were married for 31 years.
Al is most commonly known for owning the milk truck route, Al Kruger and Son’s, in the lakes area during the 1960s and 1970s. He ran his company until he retired to Jacksonville, Fla., where he has lived for the past 25 years. While in Florida he enjoyed dancing, the sunshine and frequent visits from his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Candy (Dan) Plattner, Cathy Borders, Cindy (Buck) Ward, Rick (Lisa) Kruger, Scott (Stacey) Kruger; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Elda Forar; and special friend, Winnie Halley.
He is preceded in death by his parents; six sisters; and two brothers.
Friends are invited to gather from 1-3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010, at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in St. Mathias Township at 4 p.m.
