Helen Kozmik

DEERWOOD - Helen Gertrude Kozmik, age 91, of Deerwood, died on Dec. 6, 2010, at her home. She was born on Aug. 5, 1919, to Willmar, Minn., to Marius and Marianna (Larson) Johnson. Survivors include two daughters, Katherine (Mark) Kiel, of Blaine, and Mary Lou Kozmik, of Vadnais Heights; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her husband, John; one sister; and four brothers. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 10 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Deerwood. Burial will be at the Resurrection Cemetery in Mendota Heights at 3 p.m. Friends may call on Friday one hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Memorials are preferred. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
