Harriet M. Sollid passed away on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2010, at the age of 91, at home in Brainerd surrounded by her family. Harriet was born April 26, 1919, in Absorka, Mont., to August and Bertha (McKelvey) Brey. She was married Dec. 29, 1937, in Spokane, Wash., to Ole Sollid.
Harriet was a physical therapist working at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brainerd.
She is survived by a son, Dale (Karen) Sollid, of Brainerd; and daughters, Carole (Will) Gates, of Spokane, Wash., Joyce (Leonard) Rudolph, of Fort Ripley, and Louise Sollid, of Brainerd; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Harriet was preceded in death by her husband, Ole; parents; son Larry; brothers, Dewey Brey, Henry Brey, Ernie Brey, John Brey ,Ted Brey and Darold Brey ; and sisters, Ethel Peterson, Dorothy Bjork, Annie Mae Sauther and Marie Brey.
Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor David Holte officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church. Interment will be at Vaale Cemetery, South Long Lake.
