Joshua D. Weiss

DOVER, Del. - Joshua David Weiss, 31, of Dover, Del., died in a tragic accident on Nov. 7, 2010. He was born to Greg and Kim Weiss on Sept. 4, 1979, in St. Louis Park, Minn., and was a 1998 graduate of Brainerd High School. He married Chelsea Weiss-Morningstar on Nov. 4, 2005.

Josh was a devoted husband, father, brother, son and friend. He was a kind, caring and accepting person who always took the time to say "hello." He enjoyed reading, music, movies and just hanging out with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Chelsea Weiss-Morningstar; children, Conner Weiss, Koren Weiss, Chloe Burns, Kenneth Schlenker, Naomi Schlenker; parents, Greg (Cheryl) and Kim Weiss; sisters Kendra Weiss and Kesha Schlosser (James); brothers, Jeremy Kuschel and Dan Kylochko; paternal grandmother, Lorraine Thoms; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He is predeceased by Clarence Weiss (paternal grandfather); Kenneth "Butsy" Leonard (maternal grandfather) and Ann Leonard (maternal grandmother).

A memorial service was held Nov. 12, 2010, at Bethany-Good Samaritan Chapel, Brainerd, Minn.
