Lloyd 'Bud' Schmid
Lloyd ‘Bud’ Schmid
Lloyd “Bud” Schmid, age 86, of Eden Prairie, passed away in his home on Jan. 26, 2012, surrounded my his caring family.
He was a retired legendary teacher and coach of 36 years with the Brainerd School District.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Elsie Schmid; and brother, Don Schmid. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Susan; children, Debbie (Mike) Clover, Kevin (Edita) Schmid, Krista (Bill) Card, Mike (Cynthia) Alvarez and Ginny (Tony) Unger; five grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 2 with a reception to follow at Washburn-McReavy Funeral Home, Eden Prairie Chapel, 7625 Mitchell Road (one block north of Highway 5).
