Loretta Ann Peterson
Loretta Ann Peterson
Loretta Ann Peterson, passed away in Brainerd, Minn., at the age of 69. Loretta was born on Aug. 5, 1942, in Brainerd, to Lorenzo and Doris (Cain) Whitmarsh.
Loretta will be deeply missed by her husband, Lawrence; sons Daniel (Patty) Mannie of Brainerd; step children Jeff (Pam) Peterson, Stacy, Minn., Karen (John) Jeffers, South Saint Paul, Minn., and Kathy (Andy) Reihs, Alexandria, Minn.; brothers, Clarence DeSchane, Kalamazo, Mich., Dick (Beva) DeSchane, Alice, Texas, and Lorenzo Whitmarsh, Olympia, Wash.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded the death by her parents and son David.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011, at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home, in Brainerd. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011, and also one hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church Cemetery in Center City.
