June E. Shields, age 75, of Brainerd, passed away on April 30, 2013, at Lutheran Care Center in Little Falls.

A memorial service for June will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2013, at First Lutheran Church in Brainerd.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, from 5-8 p.m. at Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home in Brainerd and also one hour prior to the service at church.

Ronda Rae Fitch, age 51, resident of Brainerd, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Good Samaritan Society-Bethany. Ronda was born in Brainerd Nov. 22, 1961, to Duane L. and Jeanette (Jarnat) Fitch.

She had been employed for 17 years at the Nisswa American Legion and was a caregiver for Good Neighbor and Golden Heart Home Health.

Surviving are her son, Nick; daughter, Alisha; and granddaughter, Luna; mother, Jan; brothers, Dale and Mike; sister, Brenda.

She was preceded in death by her father, Duane.

IRONTON — Patricia Ann Peske, age 76, of Ironton, died on April 29, 2013, at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby. She was born on July 11, 1936, in Iowa City, Iowa, to Bryan and Edna (Burns) Johnson. Pat was a member of the Bible Baptist Church in Crosby and was a former volunteer at the Brainerd Senior Center.

Survivors include her husband, Herbert; and two children, Jeff and Edna.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

LeRoy “Speeder” W. Tengwall, 81, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, in Brainerd after a battle with cancer. He was born July 25, 1931, in Willmar, Minn., to Albin and Mabel (Stene) Tengwall.

LeRoy is survived by his wife, Karen; son, Kevin; daughter, Jody Kepler; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; a niece, Bev Somerville; a brother, Orville; and a sister, Adeline Murphy.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Kari; and brother-in-law, James Murphy.
