Evelyn Nordstrom, born April 7, 1914, died peacefully at her home in Pequot Lakes on Sunday, March 6, 2011. Evelyn attended Our Savior’s Lutheran Church where she sang in the choir and was part of the quilting group for many years.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Young (Jay) and Mary Langland; and grandchildren, Jeremy, Joseph, Daniel, Andrew, Timothy, Matthew and Carly Rae.

Shirley Ann (Geving) Parks, age 72, of Brainerd, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd.

She will be dearly missed by her son, Dale Parks of Brainerd; daughters, Carol (Leroy) Marsh of Lakes Wales, Fla., Terri Parks of Minneapolis, Patricia Sundeen of Duluth and Linda Walters of Brainerd; nine grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.
