Arnold R. Nord, age 74, resident of Brainerd, died Sunday, April 10, 2011, at his home. Arnold was born in Cuyuna Village, Crow Wing Co., Minn., on Dec. 12, 1936, to Gust E. and Clara (Miller) Nord. He retired from Potlatch after 33 years of service. He enjoyed dirt track racing, snowmobiling, motorcycles and his 1955 Mercury.

Richard Brunelle, 84, of Brainerd, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Medical Center on Friday, April 8, 2011, surrounded by his loving family.

He is now together again with his parents, Katherine and Raym; as well as his sons Michael and Norman.

KENOSHA, Wis. — Peter Yde, age 82, resident of Kenosha, Wis., formerly of Brainerd, died Friday, April 8, 2011.

A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2011, at the Sylvan Cemetery. A visitation will be held Friday from 4-7 p.m. at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home. Military honors are by the Brainerd American Legion Post No. 255.

Roy M. Peterson, age 88, resident of Brainerd, died Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Good Samaritan Society–Bethany.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2011, at First Lutheran Church in Brainerd with Rev. Andy Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation times are Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home and Wednesday one hour prior to services at the Church.
