MERRIFIELD — Duane Allen Lewandowski, 47, of Merrifield, passed away at his home on Monday, March 14, 2011. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011, at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake. Family and friends are welcome to gather one hour prior to services.

Alvina Doris Bernstrom, 85, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 14, 2011, at Edgewood Vista Assisted Living, Brainerd, Minn. She was born May 14, 1925, in Caribou, Minn., to Stephen and Annie (Weleski) Pauluk.

Alvina married Efford Oliver “Bernie” Bernstrom June 1, 1946, in Caribou. She was a homemaker.

Celia Lexxy Lane, of Brainerd, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at the home of her granddaughter in Pillager. She reached the remarkable age of 101.

Celia was born on Nov. 7, 1909, in Wisconsin to Leonard and Josephine (Lewison) Radley. She married William Lane. During her younger years, Celia was the manager of the Brainerd Theatre.
