Eva Minerva Young, 87, of Brainerd was promoted to glory Monday, March 28, 2011. She was born Aug. 10, 1923, in Brainerd to Frederick and Pansy (Holsapple) Kraklau. She married Ellsworth Young.

ST. CLOUD — Father Roman B. Spors, age 82, St. Cloud, Minn., died Friday, March 25, 2011, at St. Benedict’s Senior Community, St. Cloud, Minn.

STAPLES — Beatrice Nichols, 89, of Staples, passed away on March 20, 2011, at the Lakewood Health System in Staples. Funeral services for Beatrice will be held on April 2, 2011, 11 a.m., at the Congregational Church in Staples with Pastor Muriel Hachfeld officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Evergreen Hill Cemetery, Staples.

Joan P. Yalch, age 79, of Brainerd, passed away March 28, 2011. Services are pending.
